Milton Street was a small street with about 30 houses in it. It was the main entrance to the girls and infants school. The most important thing about this street was the tuck shop at No 1, owned for many years by Mr & Mrs Walker. This picture c1960. |

Just Visited this web site seen your coments. I lived in Milton St ( our name Lucas ) there was 5 of us children Gordon, Jacqueline, Tom, Heather, Christine, Mum and Dad, Gladys & Victor. I'm with my brother Tom looking at my Mum's Car and just looking at the Street seem's so strange so many memories .We remember your grandmother well . |

| Wonderful to find this picture as I am the grandaughter of Mr & Mrs Walker. My sister and I have just discovered that our grandparents had the tuck shop and would like to know more please. |
